About the Company:

We started as an independent brokerage and have since expanded, becoming one of the largest real estate and condominium insurance brokerages in Canada. We are currently seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager in Mississauga.

As the Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with insurance companies. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills, and be a people-person who thrives in a team environment.

Your Tasks:

  • Provide clients with day-to-day service and responding to client needs in an organized and timely manner
  • Manage client renewals, follow-up on new leads, endorsements, retention, cancellations, policy changes, etc.
  • Up-sell the client by highlighting the importance of additional services that the customer may not initially consider
  • Secure client coverage needs with insurers
  • Always represent yourself and the company in a professional manner
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance companies for new business and retention
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required

We Require:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service
  • Must have a valid RIBO license in good standing OR and OTL with the desire to obtain a RIBO license
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is an asset
  • Prior experience in a customer service and office administration
  • Prior experience with TAM/Epic and other industry software
  • Prior experience with CompuQuote
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to multi-task
  • Able to work well individually and in a team environment

Our Offer:

  • Competitive pay based on experience; $45,000 - $55,000
