Landscape Construction Foreman – Top Pay and Opportunity for Equity

We are an Ontario Landscape award-winning established Landscape Construction company located in the Waterdown area near Hamilton. We have been servicing residential and commercial clients in landscape design, construction, grounds maintenance and snow removal since 1993.

We’re hiring an experienced Full-Time Landscape Construction Foreman.

We would love to find someone who is passionate about the business and loves building beautiful landscape. We are hoping to find a key person to build the business and participate in the success with a potential equity participation. We are looking for a long-term team partner.

 

Must Haves:

  • You must have a vehicle to get to work every day. There is no transit here.
  • You must have a minimum 2 years’ experience in landscape construction.
  • Must be able to lead a crew of at least 2-3 labourers.
  • Valid driver’s license and be able to drive a pickup with a trailer.
  • Be able to operate the various standard tools such as heavy equipment, chainsaws, laser levels, and all other small tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to complete work activities.
  • Able to think, provide solutions and deal with problems.
  • Lead your team, motivate them, and keep them engaged and working productively.
  • Plan timing, labour, equipment and material required to complete projects.
  • Supervise, delegate, coordinate and scheduled daily activities of crew.

 

Nice to Haves:

  • First Aid
  • Heavy Equipment certificate (bobcats and backhoe)
  • Understanding of plants and shrubs

 

Our yard is in Waterdown. Our service area is Hamilton, Cambridge, Burlington and Stoney Creek area.
